Montreal baritone Francois-Nicolas Guertin studied classical singing at the University of Montreal in the studios of John Fanning and Catherine Sévigny, as well as Marie Daveluy. Through participation in various professional development programs, including the Franz Schubert Institute in Austria, he had the honour of working with great masters of the recital such as Julius Drake, Rudolph Jansen, Helmut Deutsch, Robert Holl and Elly Ameling, as well as Rosemarie Landry, Francis Perron, Susan Manhoff, François Le Roux, Sir Thomas Allen and Graham Johnson.
